*NOTE: DragonSpawn would not be playable*
- One of the things I love about other games is that there are, well, dragons. Not the dragons you find in Guild Wars, who are miles long, or the Drakes, who are basically giant lizards. I mean smaller versions, which embody the common view of dragons to the general public. These could/would be called "Dragonspawn" minions of the great dragons. They would be like Destroyers in the sense that they are many beings controlled by one leader. There could be different types of dragons for each Great dragon, so Drakkar could have more Serpentine types, Grothmar could use the common archetype of the dragon, and Primordious could have an army of "Black Dragons", which would basically be a breed of souped up Grothmar dragons. This could even go on to include other great dragons (if they exist). For example, if there is a Cantha expansion for GW2, the Great Dragon added could have dragonspawn with a more Eastern themed appearance, like the ones you can find today. Overall, this would be a fairly major, but worthwhile in my opinion addition to the game. Joseph Canaro 18:26, 14 August 2008 (UTC) -->
- Why this is a good idea
- Everyone loves Dragons!
- This would add an interesting new enemy to the game.
- There could be a variety of Dragonspawn themed weapons added, such as daggers made from their claws, or armor adorned with their bones.
- This could be added in a much more minor way, maybe just adding a few elite areas at the end of the campaign where you could fight them.
- I like the idea though i do think that, keeping with the idea of anet's orignilaty, these should be limited in the game. A few dragons but not full armies of them.
- Why it may not work out
- People may not want Guild Wars to become "Dragon Wars".
- This may require too much work on GW2, as much of it is most likely about done.
- This would drain a bit of the originality that ANet strives for.
- aren't dragons the main enemies in GW 2? XD
