Evoution into another race (Discussion)

There are various races that it's possible to change into. These changes could optionally happen when your character achieves a certain age, or fulfils certain other conditions, or completes high-end dungeons. Perhaps you could become a lich, or an angel or demon, or a dragon... These races wouldn't be more powerful, per se, than the normal races, but the change could be purely cosmetic, or the new races would offer different sets of advantages and disadvantages.

Why this is a good idea

• Adds to the variety of the game.
• Creates a more interesting personal history for your character, a more interesting role-playing experience.
• If the change is not just cosmetic, there would be new territory to explore for people who've been playing the game a while.
• Gives you the option to change your race, if you've been playing the same race for a while.
• Show the difference between Low end players and high End players. (somthing to work for after finishing game)

Why it may not work out

• Too much extra work for designers.
• think of it! does this sound like guild wars or does it sound like final fantasy!
