Guild Wars 2 Suggestions

General environments of inhabited areas (Discussion)

Guildwars lacked real cities or villages. Every outpost or settlement felt like a temporary place or the yard of something that players cannot enter. NPC's were just standing in front of tents or just a simple wall. I havent seen one bed or a chair. Where did those npc's live? There were no houses, small buildings only huge epic walls, forts. I missed the everyday buildings and everyday human things like a toilet or an inn. You dont have to allow the players to enter these becasue the empty houses feel creepy in wow too, but try to make us believe that we are part of a living world.

My suggestion is to place more everyday objects in the world. Boxes, benches, beds of flowers, a broken wheel in a trench, trash on the floor, bricks, sticks of wood. Anything would do to make the world more alive. Even if its only a refugee camp out in the wild just think over what equipment those people might have (luggages, personal belongings like a bird in a cage, a painting showing grandpa, fishing poles, etc.)

Build cities with houses, shops, places of interests, schools, kindergardens, butchers, marketplaces with traders, basket of fruits, meat, fish etc., streets with people walking around and chatting.
