Long since playing guild wars i find that unless you post a message on the announcments board its hard to pass messages to offline people. What if you could send someone a message and have it be their when they sign on something like "guild meeting on the 14th dont miss it!". and on that note i find that when playing the game you tend to miss some guild invites or guest invites through all the spam. maybe if when you received an invite it was in letter form (such as the captured son letter or imperial recamendations from guild wars 1). this would make the invites more noticable and they would be there if the player went offline and came back on. these invited could also be droppable so if you received a guest invite simply by dropping the invitation on the ground you would in a way decline it.
