So i'd love to see a halfling like race on gw2 and i think i'm not the only one! Many people who have played dungeons and dragons do love the race and would most likelly enjoy to play something alike. Of course the race wouldnt be halfling but maybe something like a crossbreed of dwarves like for some reason dwarven family line would have got sylvari, elven or human blood wich made a whole new race. The new race would have similarities with halfling(short, pointy eared, slim and agile) Ofcourse they wouldnt be acting like dwarves, the sylvari, elven or human blood would live strong withn them and make them sought to live above ground with the nature. Or could even live on the burrows like halflings do, could explain the dwarven blood.

- Who wouldnt love short folk?

- Making exact halfling race would violate trade mark policy,
- Many players hate halfling-like races (The Joy of Punting Gnomes by Oxhorn, anyone?
- Asura. There ya go. There's already a short race, there doesn't need to be another
- Dwarves are no longer on Tyria (think back to the end of EotN)
- No elves in gw. And seriously, what kind of human would 'make love' to a dwarf?
- Yeah, no. GW is doing just fine without adding gnomes or ripping off DD and Tolkien. Plus we already have the obligatory 'short race': the Asura.
