Imbuning Process Method (Discussion)

I think Guild Wars 2 should have an imbuning/customizing feature for armor and weapons. What imbuning means is to bring its (something) essense into another object. Take fire, for example. You would be able to take the essence of fire and put it in your armor and create flaming armor. Sound cool? To make armor/weapons/etc. you would need a blacksmith class (classes like that should also be added into GW2) and materials and essences. To make a sword for example, you would choose to imbune the essence at the beginning or end of the sword making process. If you used the essence at the beginning that particular essence would be infused in the metal. (Blacksmiths forge the steal at the beginning of a sword making process). Therefore making that sword deal damage depending on the essence. If you used the essence at the end of the process, it would just 'embody' the essence. (Use a fire essence at the end and you have fire-sword). Now, there would be many essences for you to pick from. Essences would also come from creatures/enemys you encounter. Say for example, you defeat a dragon and it drops its essense, you could use it in customization to create a dragon-like style sword add a lightning essense and you have a sword you could sell for 25k! Same thing goes for armor; you can have medusa style armor with an dark aura (from dark essence) around it.

Why this is a good idea
  •  This would be very cool and add much more enjoyment to players who want a customized experience
  •  Elliminates high prices of golds, because you can make your own now!
  •  Make money by selling armor and weapons (aren't customized when you make them)
  •  Dye prices go down (I hope :))
Why it may not work out
  •  Not a big market for selling items because you can make it now
  •  Rarity of rare items drops
  •  Just a more magical/realistic idea for weapon mods which are already implemented (also it is spelled imbue not imbune).
