Numerical Height (Discussion)
It might help scaling issues for player characters by having an actual height number instead of the guessing of the body scale from the original Guild Wars. Especially since there are five races that can be played as. Each race would have a minimum and maximum height for the males and females of the race.
Example: Human males have a height limit from a 5'6" minimum to 6'4" max; while Norn males have a height limit from a 8'6" minimum to a 9'2" max. Females of the previously named races would be about a 4 inch subtraction from the minimum and max heights of the males. Male and female Asura would have similar height limits from about a 4'4" minimum to a 4'10" max due to their physiology.
- Why this is a good idea
- It'll help players by knowing exactly how tall their characters are.
- Why it may not work out
- Height limits might be restricted to the profession chosen like in the original Guild Wars.
