If keeping the idea of the Tournaments and such for GW2, think about having separate Pro and Amateur tourneys. If a guild is in the top 100 then they are ranked Pro and can only compete in Pro tourneys. Under rank 100 and they can compete in Amateur tourneys or Pro, if they really want to. Maybe this could be expanded into multiple tiers: Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze championships. This makes it so that upcoming and smaller guilds can compete in monthly tourneys without facing the daunting task of always competing against the best guilds out there. If a guild does really well in the lower ranked tourney and they move up in rank, then they will have to move on to a tougher tournament structure so that they can't just sit in a low rank tourney and decimate everybody. If you're going to keep the Xunlai Tournament House predictions, then make it so that users can only bet on the Pro or Platinum championship so there won't be a flood of Reward Points.

At first sight this is a good idea to help starting pvpers but then again there will be alot of smurfguilds around in the lower tournies so it will be pretty unbalanced
