Race/Profession Specific Skills (Discussion)===

Each race class will have its own skill tree that are only accessible to that races class. For instance a Norn warrior skill that will take advantage of the natural strength and hight of the Norn, but it will not be accessible to say a Norn Paragon or an Asuran warrior being nearly only 1/4 of the full hight of the Norn. Each race has a tree for each of its classes a long with the general skills that are accessible to everyone else. Likewise an Asuran assassin will have a skill tree to take advantage of its small stature to attack that a Norn would have no ability to do. Short Norn ftl?

Added: need more to say

This will be a basic layout of what the Idea I had

Asura

Warrior: They are pretty short and don't appear to have much physical force, therefore they take advantage of their high intelligence to fight, much like fighting when you get old, they go for the exploits of a beast, and the advantage of their small hight, many will be able to inflict poison instead of bleeding or both from their skill tree.

Ranger: they can't pull back that bow enough to do as much damage as the larger races can, they use skills with magical buffs to them making them able to compensate for their shorter arms.

Elemental: well this is where the Asura are specialists in, therefore they should get their own skills, like Asura Flare, which will do X damage and slow opponent by X%. of course they will have more

Mesmers: Asura mesmers are some of the best, they have a skill tree to make people feel much smaller then they really are, and fool people to think in different ways using their high intelligence they've even been known to force others to inflict damage to their allies as well as attacking their opponent. This is just a basic example of what they could use, but I don't feel like elaborating into the dervish, paragon, ritualist, etc. at the moment

Assassin: Able to hide in combat as well tricking their opponent to simply ignore that they were there. Will have a very special skill called Combo Riot which will give the ability to use any skill without meeting a requirement, with the exception of a weapon requirement, allowing them to temporarily spam dual strikes on their opponent.

Norn

Warrior: A tree that complements their sheer size, knockdown and stance breakers will work just fine, i find no need for + damage skills because of bear form, which will OP the class.

Assassin: Nothings worse then watching a Norn decided to send a barrage of blades towards you, these are once again knockdown and stance breakers. Most of them will have simple melee skills rather then combo builds making strong attacks to come at more of an unexpected time.

Sylvari

Sadly I don't know as much as most people about the sylvari, so this will be a Discussion open topic.

Charr

rangers: I just see so many char as rangers so they get many skills with +elemental damage with -physical for balance

Human

Paragon: the tree will deal with the adaptability of the humans that we like to say we have. Many skills for countering many situations.

The Discussion is open to Ideas for that if you want...

Why this is a good idea
  •   Makes each race more unique, besides the general race skills that are available to the entire race
  •   People will choose a race that they find more in their play style,
Why it may not work out
  •   May have trouble with ideas, balance between races, and just general bugs i.e. Human having access to Sylvari class skills
  •   People might find that they would want a skill that is only accessible to another races class on a different race i.e. Charr Ranger Skills on a Human ranger
