Racial Backgrounds (Discussion)

Dear ArenaNet,

the GW2 characters are supposed to be the decendants of the GW1 characters. My character is Canthan. Would you please add faces/skins/options to make her decendant look/be Canthan? Just like the faces of GW1 characters are more Asian for the Factions campaign.

Why this is a good idea

• Makes more sense from a role-playing point of view.
• Not everyone wants to be a Tyrian.
• Because there are many Canthan and Elonian refugee's in Tyria now.

Why it may not work out

• Making additional faces is probably a lot of work, but 1 or 2 Canthan (Asian) and Elonian (African) faces will do. Just enough to allow players to show their heritage.
• Um... GW2 will probably have all the different races, and if not they'll be released with expansions just like the original GW.
