My favorite landscape into the whole Guild Wars world is the Mount Qinkai one, which I really find beautiful. However I regret it is not possible to go very high on the slopes of this mountain. My dream would have been to be able to climb up to the very top of it ! And the associated quest may have been some kind of pilgrimage, the same kind that happens for Mount Fuji in Japan, into the real world.
To reach the top, players may be obliged to find or craft and equip some special gears, like crampons, ice axe and warm clothes.
On their way they would face a few monsters of course, but also some dangerous environments, like crevasses, falling rocks and ice, ice and snow slopes, and of course avalanches.
- Why this is a good idea
- It would allow people to access to one of the most beautiful landscape of the Guild Wars world, which would be a reward in itself.
- Also this time, the trials would mainly consist of the natural environment, which would change a bit of dungeons and monsters.
- Why it may not work out
- The problem would be technical, as such a mountain environment may be difficult to be coded into the game.
