GuildWars currently gives users the possibility to customize the UI to a certain degree. Even so, it still lacks of some functions as "Skin changing", and more important, a "transparency" setting for those users who just can't allow themselves to play at a resolution high enough for the UI to not fill their whole screen. Including these two features in GuildWars 2, together with making the UI settings being personalizable in a character by character basis could provide to be helpful for some users.

Why this is a good idea

•  Allows users to further personalize their UI according not only to their playing needs, but also to the limits of their computers.
•  Allows skin sharing and customization without the need of external 3rd party programs (besides a standard image editor).
•  Transparency settings could improve the playing experience by ensuring only the vital information is on screen, while all the "neat looking boxes" are out of the way.
•  

Why it may not work out

•  More UI customization options may be confusing for the average user.
•  Would imply more work for the developers on a non-vital aspect of the game.
