I know this sounds ridiculous, but tell me, does anyone know the actual lifespan of an Asura? It has been said that Vekk is old for our standards, but still young for Asura standards. Vekk wouldn't be young and witty like he is now, but he certainly could live on as a wise old Asura. This could contribute to the storyline for every race, as you could discover a friend (Vekk) of your great, great, great grandfather. Vekk could even become available as a hero in GW2, or an NPC for aid in missions. Vekk could even die during a particular mission cutscene in combat. Vekk could even behave as a "Teacher" to your character in a very Yoda-esque way, or even a major leader of the Asura.
- Why this is a good idea
- Everyone likes Vekk!!
- No one likes Vekk.
- This would bring forward a sense of familiarity to EoTN players.
- This could add a major character to the game
- Vekk could be a hero, or companion in GW2.
- Would allow Maurice LaMarche to do Vekk's voice again (come on who doesn't like the Brain?!(Are you pondering what I'm pondering?"))
- Anet would have to hire Rob Paulsen (the voice of Pinky) for additional witticisms.
- Why it may not work out
- The Asura may not live as long as I think
- ANet may already have a plan for Vekk, so maybe he died in battle against the remnants of the White Mantle on the Tarnished Coast (Or something)
