"Wilderness" (Discussion)

Have public areas outside of towns/outposts that allows players to freely attack anything that moves. Players can have a sort of PvP with no real preparation. Different zones for different skill levels. A character vs. four times it's level isn't good. When they die, they simply are resurrected and can venture back if they wish.


Why this is a good idea
  •   It creates interest in the game once the storyline has been beaten.
  •   Rewards could be given (possibly titles) depending on how well you do in the wilderness.
  •   Creates a more unstructured PvP which is more friendly to the new player.


Why it may not work out
  •   Contradicts the use of arenas.
  •   Maybe swamped with guilds and develope more into chaos then anything.
  •   All ready going to be World PvP.
  • way to much like runescape
  •   Go home Runescape idea.
  •   I thought most gw players joined gw to get away from crapsack games like runescape
  •   runescape is for phonies
