Instead of you hunting mobs all the time they could come to you sometimes example your standing still in the middle of the desert or forest or anywhere in a PvE area and your character hears something from behind him and looks over hes shoulder and looks around or he feels something is wrong and your character gets nervous then a mob it could be stronger of weaker then you or it could be a pet anyway it attacks you in the back and knocks you down if you weren't facing it(its always a melee attacker and it runs trough you and knocks you down then starts attacking) and you role over the ground and turn around this mob attack should have a random time like 10...50...60 min or just nothings attacks you after those times has past and if your fighting another mob could hear it and go look and it could be an friend of the enemy your fighting and attacks you or its an enemy of your enemy and it helps you kill them then when they died it attacks you if its still alive or you gain an ally and sometimes you can get a quest from it to unlock an outpost or town and this is only when you're playing in offline mode(other players that are not in your party aren't visible to you i forgot how that's called so i'll call it offline mode) and they could ad a instinct side skill which everyone has so that you wont be able to get knocked down cause you can feel him coming and if you got it high(it levels alone every time a mob attacks you)you are able to sense the mob and when he attack you you put your hand behind your shoulder and grab the mob storming at you then you make a back flip or something that looks better like a side swing and land on its back but if its to small to carry you you squeeze it and kill it in 1 sword attack but if its big enough to carry you you stand on it then stab him once then make another back flip to land on the ground with bow you do the same thing but you shoot a close range arrow with 80% more damage then normal and you make a wound in its back and the arrow stays there or if its a small mob you kill it in 1 hit other range professions just role to their left the mob misses and they do like a special skill that fits with their profession like a elemantist shoots a sharp rock into its back and then the mob crashes into a tree or get knocked down or trips which gives him more damage and then you start fighting it and this instinct side skill will get lowered every time you enter an outpost or town it lowers by 2 per min cause a town or outpost doesn't active your instinct unless its an outpost you unlocked from a friendly mob you met and it shows under your name or beside you health and i think they're should be a profession lock on armors and weapons so players wont be able to use weapons that aren't for their professions like this arena net can set the way you dodge the attacking mobs based on what kind of weapon your wearing sword, bow, staff, axe, hammer etc

Why this is a good idea
  •  makes the game more interesting players wont just stand still in a PvE area and go afk
  •  you don't always have to hunt for mobs
  • outposts and armor that you can only unlock by fighting mobs so you aren't just fighting to lvl up
  • when you stand still you wont get any friendly mob cause they don't know which side your on so they will always attack you so lazy players won't unlock anything
  • friendly mobs will be rarely seen so it will be hard to meet some
Why it may not work out
  •  can get annoying if you get attacked every 10 min by a stronger mob then you
  • your waiting for a friendly mob to come and keep fighting and he never comes and you get annoyed
