Armond's Issue 21:29, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- Issue: Hex removal in general is weak. Teams are easily overpowered simply by the sheer number of hexes thrown at them - hex removal is far outpaced by hex application.
- Suggestion: Remove 1...3...4 hexes, tie to Fast Casting. If, however, you don't want to discourage characters going X/Me (generally Rt/Me or P/Me in the past) for this skill, change to remove 2...4...5 hexes and tie to Inspiration Magic. (The idea here is that secondary Mesmers can still take this skill, but primary Mesmers can make better use of it from runes. Perhaps Inspiration Magic isn't the best choice for this purpose.)
Cool suggestion, Id prefer 1..2 but I like the idea, I'll throw this on my list to discuss in our next balance meeting. ~Izzy
Falconeye's Proposal
- Issue:
- -Peace and Harmony (and other updated advances in hex-removal skills).
- Suggestion:
- -Allow it to function as anti-stacking/anti-hexway, along with free energy like Tease.
5 ¼ 8 - (Fast Casting) - Elite Spell. Remove one top hex, one bottom hex, and one Mesmer hex from target ally. Return 1...3...4 Energy for each Hex removed in this way. Cannot self-target. -=OR=-
5 ¼ 8 - (Inspiration Magic) - Elite Spell. Remove one 2 hexes from target ally. Return 0...4...5 Energy for each Hex removed in this way. Cannot self-target.

Worse than Peace and Harmony in every way
Same as Peace and Harmony 4x Peace and Harmony more than Peace and Harmony "Elite Imitation of Non-Elite Skill. Target ally loses 2 hexes. Same effect as Peace and Harmony at level 3, except that you aren't immune to conditions and hexes and no conditions are removed. In short, Expel Hexes is trash."
- Suggestion
- "Remove 2 hexes from all allies in the area."
