Barbed Arrows

Readem's Issue

Barbed Arrows Barbed Arrows

  • Issue: Possibly problematic/overpowered. Cheaper than apply, and nearly better in every way. Setback is overcome by NS. In other than TA, why would anyone run AP?
  • Suggestion: Needs some drawback.

Skye Marin's Issue 05:22, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

  • Issue: Easily interrupt condition is obstructing viability.
  • Suggestion: Remove easily interrupted condition.

Discussion

We've always kept the access to bleed a little weaker then the access to Poison on the ranger, it's just a class thing and while it's not equal number for number with Poison the idea is the ranger is not the best at applying bleed. Izzy @-'---- 02:22, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

But nobody is using this skill as it is. It's weak compared to just about every other prep. 147.226.219.135 07:25, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Armond's Issue 22:17, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

  • Suggestion: Remove easily interruptible clause, increase energy cost to 15, add "and your arrows do +2...5...6 damage per hit."

Discussion

RazzlDazzle's Issue 23:50, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

  • Issue: Easily interruption clause. 18 second duration and much worse than apply.
  • Suggestion Not easily interruptable. 24 second prep. duration. Increase Bleeding duration to 15 second at 10 Wilds. Makes it more viable as a prep.

moush's Issue 13:33, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

  • Issue: Weak.
  • Suggestion: Move to marksmanship so it has a degen prep also. Keep rest as is.

Frozen Soil

Shard's Issue -- 06:09, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

Issue
Though it's obvious that its intent was to prevent resurrection, some skills (Restoration, Unyielding Aura, Lively Was Naomei) are able to ignore this skill completely.
Suggestion
Fix it.

Scavenger's Focus

Issue -- 04:19, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Discussion

Issue
Does less added damage than Read the Wind or Expert Focus. Worse than elite Glass Arrows. DPS-wise also worse than Apply Poison.
Conditional (does nothing if target has no conditions).
Suggestion
Add "You cannot be interrupted while attacking (promotes Precision shot and gives resistance to Ineptitude, Clumsiness, and the like)".
Additional +3 ..7...9 damage while wielding a bow. (since for some odd reason this is all weapons and is in wilderness survival)

A. von Rin's Alternative Suggestion

Issue
Same as above. Discussion
Suggestion
"Elite Preparation. For 24 seconds, your attacks deal +4...12...14 damage and your arrows cannot be blocked from foes suffering from a Condition."

Lilondra's Issue -- 04:19, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Discussion

Issue
Same as above.
Suggestion
Make it a stance and increase the +damage to 10...15...20.(the conditional effect can stay)
If necesarry move it to expertise attribute and make it fail with expertise <5

Sneaky Suggestion 19 June 2008

Issue
Does less damage then conjure
Suggestion
10 Tango-energy.png 1 Tango-activation-darker.png 12 Tango-recharge-darker.png Elite Preperation. For 24 Seconds you deal +5..13..17 damage per conditon on target foe when using Bow Skills.

Sneaky Take a Bow 00:22, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

Phill's issue

Worse than Poison Arrow.

Suggestion

I Note two of the earlier spoken players- 1st:

:10 Tango-energy.png 1 Tango-activation-darker.png 12 Tango-recharge-darker.png Elite Preparation. For 24 Seconds you deal +5..10..15 damage per condition on target foe when using Skills.

2nd:

"Elite Preparation. For 24 seconds, your attacks deal +4...12...15 damage and your attacks cannot be blocked from foes suffering from a Condition."
