Fighterdoken Issue -- 11 December 2008
- After today's update
- Hundred Blades doesn't seem to stack anymore with secondary-profession skills as it used to do. Effects that used to be triggered "per hit" now only trigger on the first strike, ignoring the AoE hits.
- The AoE damage is now a fixed amount instead of counting as common melee strikes.
- Aditional AoE hits no longer contribute to adrenaline gain.
- All these changes mean, in practice, that the skill is now in a worse situation than it was before.
- Suggestion
- Revert the changes, or at least change HB from "deal X slashing damage to adyacent foes" to "hit adyacet foes".
Noctarch's issue - 14th Decembre 2008
- Issue
- It is not able to be kept up which is undesirable.
- It inflicts armor-respecting damage which is most often reduced to a point where it doesn't achieve anything.
- Suggestion
As this seems to be a PvE-oriented change, the problems of not being able to hit fleeing foes with Hundred Blades can be forgotten.
- Decrease recharge to 20 seconds, increase lasting time to 30 seconds, (decrease damage to 20 at 15 swordsmanship,) convert damage to armor ignoring to turn it into an elite Conjure for swords only.
- Increase Recharge to 30 seconds, increase lasting time to 30 seconds, functionally change to: "Stance. While wielding a sword (and not using attack skills) you attack all adjacent foes.", (increase cost to 10)
Still trash
- Issue
- Not maintainable, damage reduced by armor
- Buffing it is difficult because of a few skills.
- Suggestion 1
- Change damage to untyped, increase duration to 25 seconds.
- Suggestion 2
- While wielding a sword you do +1...10...12 damage and strike 2 other adjacent foes when you attack. The same foe may not be struck twice with one attack.
