Life Infusion's Issue -- 01:27, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
- Issue
- Not useful with Soldier's Strike in the same attribute line.
- Does no damage against targets with more health.
- Recharge is a bit high.
- Suggestion
- Make Thrill of Victory help on splits by using the same mechanic as Victorious Sweep. Simply have it heal a marginal amount (about 50 or so HP) if the target has less than 50% Health
- Cut the damage by half and make it nonconditional damage.
Damage is conditional and recharge time not worth it
- Issue
- Long recharge. Overshadowed by Victorious Sweep. This skill is in Tactics and therefore forces the user to spec in an additional attribute.
- Suggestion 1
- This skill is underpowered and I will suggest an aggressive buff. Decrease recharge to 3 seconds, add "and you gain a strike of adrenaline".
- Suggestion 2
- An even more aggressive buff. Change to "Melee attack. If this attack hits it does +5...29...37 damage. If you have more health than target foe you gain 1...3...3 strikes of adrenaline." Reduce recharge to 6 seconds.
How about
- Issue
- Same as above
- Suggestion
- 5e 8r Elite melee attack. If Thrill of victory hits, you strike for (current damage). If you have more health than target foe, target foe is Crippled and Weakened for 3...13...15 seconds.
Generally useless
- Issue
- Same as above.
- Suggestion
- Make it a buffing stance or skill, not a melee attack. This is more because the name suggests that to me rather than foe balancing reasons, but in those terms there are plenty of good melee attacks to use as finishers and this is too conditional to use otherwise, especially being in Tactics (Tactics being the main problem, tbh).
- Thrill of Victory. 5 15 .
- Skill. For 5...11...13 seconds, whenever you strike a foe with less Health than you in melee, you deal +2...8...10 damage and gain 20% more adrenaline. Thrill of Victory ends if you fall below 50% health.
- OK, this alone might not be enough (might need more damage or adrenaline) but it acts as a general booster, giving a damage bonus and minor adrenaline increase, making it good for pressure. OK, it's still conditional, but since it triggers on every attack, you can hit someone to injure them and then hit them again to get the bonuses. It can't quite be kept up like this, and requires a certain amount of energy, but not an unreasonable amount I don't think (again, it might need a bit more of a buff, though).
Impaled's Issue -- 10:54, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
- Issue
- Overshadowed by Power Attack and Soldier's Strike for damage; Tactics is generally not that good.
- Suggestion
5 0 8 Melee Attack. Deals +5...17...20 damage. You gain 1...7...8 energy if you have more Health than your target.
