I think that's an excellent idea. Considering how much fun it is to listen to each of the NPC's talk in the expansion, this would be the next step of npc-player interactivity. I agree that the NPC world is very static. They should perhaps give them some more life, and have them engage players in various creative ways.
For instance, "Alliance Battle NPC's " who wave and shout out at you, or even calling a player by name. Of course the level of programming for this might be quiet complex to setup for each city/area, so that might be something ANET doesn't have time for. All in all, it would be nice to increase the interaction of the NPC-Player world. Astra Argus 12:03, 21 December 2008 (EST)
