You should Actually Read what i wrote. Not just complain about Ursan. I know Ursan was a Way over powered skill and they should never bring it back. But the other skills of the norn title track where not over power and worked well with other build. I never want to see the blessing again so stop talking about whats bad and look for the good in some thing before Pulling up the past. This idea is a way to prevent unbalance, Not make more Ursan skill. Most games when they have different races pull of this stat different that favors one race over the other when it comes to profession. I don't want to see that. GW has a very good and simple system going for them and they should keep it. There Attribute system that they made with guild wars may very well be the system they need to make it the fun and innovative game we hope it will be.

Common MMO Attributes:

  • Strength
  • Dexterity
  • health
  • Agility
  • Intelligence
  • Luck

This system that most MMO's use often makes profession's like Ranger, Assassin, and Elementist, extremely over powers. With the Rangers high Dex they never miss, with the assassins Agi and luck they can't be hit at all, and the Elementist High Dex and Int they cast heavy spells in a split second allowing for quick heavy damage. And that is worse then any Ursan skill.

Guild Wars Attribute system:

  • Primary-Gave that profession some thing only they could get.
  • Secondary Weapon-Gave the profession proficiency in a given weapon raising the DPS and critical in that weapon.
  • Secondary Spell-Gave the profession proficiency in a given spell type raising damage of healing and duration of that type of spell
  • Secondary support-Give the profession support skills to help then selves and the party. this is mostly seen with warriors, paragons, ritualists and necromancers.
  • Secondary-fifth one would usually fall under one of the other secondary category's.

Although GW's system had some kinks to it, the game was surprisingly well balanced considering what usually happens in MMO's. What I'm suggesting is a way to keep it from throwing it self in to the unbalance that has bean excepted in other MMO's.

I corrected some spelling errors. In the future, its not pull arm weapons, its pole arm weapons. --PCGamer07 15:30, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

now I may be wrong so I did not change it but I believe "pole arm" is in actuality a singular word and therefore needs to space in between the syllables. Weaponmaster 08:28, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
