Why would map travel ruin it? I certainly don't want to have to do a run every time I want to get to a specific town, irregardless if the game is persistent or instanced.--Will Greyhawk 14:55, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
The people who don't like map travel say that games with continuous worlds need people being forced into the field so that they can team up with other players and help out with events. Personally, I'd be fine with keeping map travel, but I'd still like Asuran gates to be the explanation for it. That way we can have events to protect and repair Asura gates when enemy armies lay seige to a town. If the gate is destroyed, the town will be inaccessable to map travel until a repair krewe can be brought in.--Shai Halud 19:54, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
