I just want to say thank the lord that GW2 won't require super-high-end PC's. I can run Oblivion on my machine, with VERY Little other than high resolution textures. As in simply the texture quality. Shadows.. can't do them. Anti-aliasing, gives an unplayable FPS. Etc. I just hope GW2 will not exceed oblivion in system reqs.

You have to remember that GW2 isn't out until the end of 2008, so when gaile says it won't need a high end PC, it probably means for when it is released, which would be a high end PC now. it is all speculation though but I would keep that in mind. --Lemming64 18:02, 2 April 2007 (EDT)
I was just looking at the price of the "highest" end computer I could find - a QuadCore with dual graphic cards and etc, merely US$21.000 o.O While it's going to take some time for GW2 to be released, and I'm sure a computer that is now old won't be able to play it at all, I'm sure we won't need THAT kind of power. That's at least a bit conforting to me. Erasculio 18:05, 2 April 2007 (EDT)
$21,000? Surely $2,000! I've got a quad core with dual 8800gtx, and even with the premium we have to pay for stuff in Britain, it was "only" £3,100. Er, which equates to somewhere in the region of $6,000. And I only use it to play Guild Wars. Obsessed? Moi? --SnogratTrigsig.png 09:25, 4 April 2007 (EDT)

What does she mean when she talks about the Glad Helm? 68.226.178.120 23:27, 2 April 2007 (EDT)

It very much sounds like the helm for the Warrior_ascended_Gladiator's_armor is going to be added to the game soon. It is a prophecies set of armour which, while helms have been seen for it in concept art for instance, has never had the helm available to acquire in game. --Aspectacle 23:33, 2 April 2007 (EDT)
Ah. Thanks. 68.226.178.120 23:47, 2 April 2007 (EDT)

I wanted to mention that I made a modest change to the line about Hall of Monuments. I don't usually jump into these articles, but there is a distinction that I felt was essential: My intention is to ask about [Hall of Monuments] this week, but I did not promise (or did not mean to imply) that we would be able to provide information this week. The relevant quote is here: "There are things I've vowed to ask about GW:EN. Those include how Hall of Monuments works, how names are reserved, and any info about character slots." Therefore I changed the wiki line a bit. The designers will need to make a decision about the timeline for providing details of the HoM and I'm not sure what that timeline will be. --Gaile User gaile 2.png 13:30, 3 April 2007 (EDT)

This is a problem he have with the summaries - they rely on someone's intepretation of what has been said, and sometimes that interpretation may not be accurate. Sorry, Gaile, we'll try to aim at something as close as possible to your (and The Frog's and The Scribe's) words. Erasculio 09:17, 4 April 2007 (EDT)
