Underwood's Discussion
About the 1...3...3 attack triggers does anyone know it that is possible? Since dual attacks hit twice would that cause mark of instability to use up 2 charges for just 1 KD? I'm thinking it is and if that can't be changed then up the charges of the hex to suit however many times you want it to trigger.--Underwood 04:40, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
I think it would charge each strike. But then again if youre using more then 2 dual attacks youre doing something wrong + Knockdown doesnt stack so if you use an ias youre chain will be to fast causing the last knockdown to fail.Lilondra 12:39, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- It'll make it more of a pressure skill rather than a spike skill, while also retaining its use for existing builds that utilize this skill.--74.61.209.219 23:12, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Youre kidding me right right ? then you can use Black spider > twisting fangs > falling lotus >blades of steel for a godlike chain :)Lilondra 16:13, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

- except for lighter on your energy its a nerf 76.26.189.65 18:31, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
You got to be kidding me :o,I mean OMFG mark of insability just puts a big mark on youre target : "hey i am going to be spiked so pls just use hex removal and the assassin wont be able to spike for the next 20 seconds because hes dumb enough not to take any other form of kd to complete hes chain."If you use this you can still choose what target as its used on yourself so for 8 seconds you can choose whatever target you want ;)Lilondra 16:10, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
- I like that idea. No way is it a nerf, in fact it might be overpowered. They destroyed Horns of the Ox and Trampling Ox because the knockdown (even conditional) coupled with the high damage of a dual attack was overpowered in instagib assassins, but if this skill existed you can use any dual attack to reliably knockdown, which brings back something Izzy tried to remove --Lytel 02:34, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
- Make it 1/4 cast time, an enchantment spell, and last 1...15 seconds and put it in deadly arts. Then it will be good.--96.233.54.123 05:07, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- It already is good and you still have to put in an extra slot to achieve the knockdown + temporary shutting the sin will shut his chain 2.Lilondra 17:31, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- I like the purpose behind Lilonda's idea, but might be too powerful. My idea is probably too powerful too, but I think it would make more sense if 'mark' of instability was an lead attack that applied the hex, instead of a spell, so it could still be removed but would flow more easily in the assassin's attack chain, balanced by the longer recharge compared to the ox attacks. Plus, I think it would be cool to apply a hex with an attack instead of casting a spell like the annoying paradox assassins. - Elder Angelus 19:54, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Surely that would be bad for the Deadly Arts caster sins. They already spam enough knockdown. --Lytel 07:57, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
- They dont have room to fit this, mantis touch, and vamp assault on 1 bar. -- frvwfr2 (talk · contributions) 03:03, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- Best idea here- make it require melee range maybe? I'd say shadowstep to target foe in addition, but I'm fairly sure I'd be shot for suggesting something OP. (note- adding my idea). --Kalas Silvern 04:35, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
