You do realize this this skills entire intent is to make other weapons, BESIDES daggers, viable for assassins, right? Dargon 22:09, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

no he doesn't --Cursed Angel talk 23:44, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
More QQ over A/D sins? Go hit Fox's Promise. --203.59.84.64 02:05, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Thats the irony he did and izzy listened to that damn noob -.-, Assassins are underpowered but because you took away like every single usefull skill they are forced to start abusing some features. If you just leaved the sp sin like it was and reduced the shadow prison snare and duration this would never have happened.Lilondra 06:55, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

I laughed so hard when reading this suggestion 88.169.112.155 22:36, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

I don't see what the big deal is and why everyone hates scythe sins, any monk with half a brain will see the sin holding a scythe, hit spirit bond and laugh. Its perfectly balanced Gosu Death 00:11, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

That is if you carried spirit bond, the problem is when that assassin will take DA with him or if its combined with shattering assault, unblockable, unblindeble damage. It is strong and i might reconsider my opinion on this.If it is transfered to daggers then it would be viable as boost to youre e-management and aspecially to youre dual attacks.Imo it should be a skill then though not an enchantment.

Good monks carry Spirit Bond or Prot Spirit. If a monk isn't carrying one of those in a format that matters, the monk deserves to die. 76.89.81.150 00:38, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

I think the real problem right now is that Daggers, to put it frankly, suck. Scythes are a problem due to insane damage on criticals, but if daggers are fixed this will become far less attractive. I'd actually be fine with this affecting range weapons only, so that bow-sins and spear-sins still have use, but you don't get these stupid crit-melee war/derv imposter sins running around. --Kalas Silvern 07:19, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

True, i run this with a sword, for troll farming, a different way, and worrkign with ranged weapons, would be ok, but we should add  : If Weilding Daggers, you Have a +1..13..17% chance to critical, yeah, and or fix daggers, Annoying And Deadly

Oops, I'm a retard. ~~ User:Frvwfr2 frvwfr2 (talk · contributions) 22:40, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

pls stop messing up the skills! don't listen to dagger only! just disable it for scythes then u guys are messing up all my sin/paragorn builds ! and others whit these stuppid dagger only updates! --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:76.25.197.215 (talk).

QQ moar, learn to sign. Admittedly scythes have a disproportionate high end damage. How can a hammer which would be heavier do less damage than a scythe? BeeD 19:16, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

This is what izzy was thinking when he made this skill.."Dagger attacks and chains have been nerfed to the point of nonexistence because of poor initial balance design. Oh, I've got an idea let's make a skill that allows assassins to use the most overpowered weapon in the game to inflict ridiculously high amounts of damage without attack skills. Yeah! " Tbh, even if it was poorly designed most A/D scythe sin builds have been nerfed or have fallen out of meta. I don't see the point of nerfing this skill atm. However, I do agree that taking away overpowered scythe builds is a good thing so if people want it nerfed, fine by me. Demosthenes 17:50, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

IMO it's good for assassins to have some slightly different options, and now Fox's Promise and Way of the Assassin have been nerfed only to work with daggers, there aren't anywhere near as many gimmicky non-dagger builds running around, and besides, this skill isn't all that powerful on its own - even with high crit strikes you're looking at ~50% chance to crit overral at most, plus it can be removed. Considering that sins can't then use runes for non-dagger weapons, it kinda balances out a bit. This should probably stay as it is. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:81.105.50.128 (talk).
Buff and rework daggers, nerf scythes. A retarded pile of wood shavings could figure it out without much trouble.
