- Yeah, they should buff spirits and buff spirit counters. -- Gordon Ecker 04:55, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Um, who runs spirit spam anymore, and why can't your ranger savage/dshot it, and why can't you drop an AoE on it? -- Armond Warblade 06:24, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Because of block web? Lightblade 09:36, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

more random rit-hate , nobody runs spirit spam anymore , and a ranger with d-shot and savage shot can already shutdown a spirit-based rit 189.70.159.187 15:44, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Errr I don't hat rits, I have one myself and the Ranger thing is right. Mesmers should be able to stand up to Rangers in terms of interrupting... and Spirit Spam is still up and running... Mr.Hobo 21:57, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- This only would be ok, if Spirits(and Rits overall) would get a big buff in different attribute lines. The day this happens, i will support your idea! ;o) A. von Rin 01:27, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- Spirit Spam works because people are stupid to not to disrupt and kill the spirits. Spirit Spam builds are based on the assumption that your enemies are stupid. Lightblade 01:29, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- Lightblade, that's my point. If you could disrupt Spirit Spam with a Mesmer it would be a lot easier to counter. Just because your team doesn't have a d-shot ranger shouldn't mean you can't interrupt spirits... Mr.Hobo 01:50, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

- I agree to the suggestion. At least we'll have one more thing to counter rits. ~Shard (talk / Nerf List) 03:22, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
The thing is that Mesmers have enough shutdown as it is and rituals tend to have high recharges. If anything spirit hate should be added to stuff people don't normally bring.--Life Infusion «T» 03:18, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- Dom Mesmers can bring skills to kill Spirits though. If anything those should be made more viable somehow. Different discussion I guess. I just don't think it's the right answer to make "power" interrupts work on Rituals. I do think Spirit Spam is a bad mechanic and any counters to it are good. Keep that shit out of the meta. --TimeToGetIntense 05:26, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
making the domination magic interrupts being able to interrupt binding rituals would just totally kill any type of spirit spam , also i don't find that to be necessary , since mesmers already have Psychic Distraction , wich can interrupt binding rituals . 189.70.185.150 00:02, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
No one cares. --Readem 09:24, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
At Readem: No one cares about what? Mesmers interrupting spirits, or spirit spam not being viable? :S Mr.Hobo 01:59, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
both of them i'd say 189.70.131.30 00:15, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
Many spirits of the Rit are too weak. So, why do you ant to interrupt them easyer? A Rit has to invest much time in setting spirits. It is hard enaugh to be not interrupted in that time. Although a Mesmer has quiet enaugh skills to interrupt rituals. Yullive 20:49, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
You can always bring Unnatural Signet if you want. [Desocupado 12:25, 27 november, 2008 (GMT -3)]
- If Active Rituals ever go live (ArenaNet:Skill feedback/Ritualist/Ritualists need a buff) then I say Interrupt away! The more mesmers are challenging, the more I respect them and feel compelled to take them down. ^_^--Falconeye 07:29, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
