Issue
In My oppinion rits were created by ANet to support damage with channeling, support healing with restoration, spam offensive/defensive spirits with communing. But nowdays rits are only used in GvG as a flag runners, and rarely they appear in HA. Rits have a little use in PvE, so they lost their place in the team.I (and maybe many others) want to change this. Guild Wars is a very fast game, where the winner must have greater speed. Ritualists have no speed. Binding rituals are slowing them down, so rits can be quick only holding an item and using speed buffs from other professions. No time to cast spirits, while your team is moving and splitting. In PvE the battle is finished by eles, dervs, mm necros, before you can even cast,for example, shadowsong. So spirits are the main problem. Too slow for this game.
Suggestion
1) Reduce spirit casting time 3->1, 5->2
2) Reduce spirit duration
3) Reduce spirit recharge time
4) To prevent players from overspamming battlefield with new fast spirits, we could do this:

After casting a binding ritual all others binding rituals will be disabled for ~ 4 seconds. Better to spam 1 spirit in 5 seconds, than to spam it for 5 seconds. =)

5) Change spawning power. Many players suggested to do this before me. I think the most cool idea was to make SP look like this: For each 3 rank of SP spirits you cast last 2 seconds longer. For each rank of SP weapon spells you use last for 3% longer. In general SP gives a little bonus to rits: +hp to spirits is not good (N/Rts are using defensive spirits even better than a rits, because of good e-management).

0 Energy1 Activation time15 Recharge time - (Communing) - Signet. The next spirit, you use will last 0...3...4 seconds longer and have + 65...89...95 to maximum health.

5 Energy1 Activation time10 Recharge time - (Communing) - Weapon Spell. For 1...8...10 seconds, target other ally's next attack cannot be blocked and foe attacked by that ally loses one enchantment." For every rank in Spawning Power, Ghostly Weapon lasts 3% longer.

10 Energy1 Activation time10 Recharge time - (Communing) - Elite Weapon Spell. For 7...19...22 seconds,target ally has a Weapon of Quickening, Spells recharge and cast 25% faster. ." For every rank in Spawning Power, Weapon of Quickening lasts 3% longer.

10 Energy1 Activation time20 Recharge time - (Communing) - Enchantment Spell. For 10...22...25 seconds, you have + 8...18...20 armor against elemental damage while holding an item. You also have +8...18...20 armor against physical damage if you are within earshot of a spirit.

10 Energy1 Activation time20 Recharge time - (Communing) - Hex Spell. For 2...9...11 seconds, target foe and all nearby foes have 50% chance to miss with attacks, while within earshot of a spirit.

Many Spawning power skills are pretty useless... so:

10 Energy1 Activation time20 Recharge time - (Spawning Power) - Item spell. For 10...45...54 seconds, you have + 1 energy regeneration.

5 Energy1 Activation time20 Recharge time - (Spawning Power) - Elite Skill. For 30 seconds, your binding rituals recharge 10...28...33% faster and spirits you create last 10...28...33% longer.

5 Energy2 Activation time20 Recharge time - (Spawning Power) - Elite Enchantment Spell. For 10...22...25 seconds, you gain 0...2...2 energy each time you casting a spell within earshot of a spirit.

10 Energy1 Activation time20 Recharge time - (Spawning Power) - Elite Enchantment Spell. For 10...22...25 seconds, whenever allied spirit whithin earshot dies you gain 0...4...5 energy, and one random binding ritual is recharged.

Some skills in the restoration line:

5 Energy1 Activation time4 Recharge time - (Restoration magic) - Spell. Heal target ally for 30...84...97. Heals one additional ally nearby for each spirit within your earshot for 25...49...55.

5 Energy1 Activation time20 Recharge time - (Restoration magic) - Item spell. Hold Xiko's ashes for up to 5...25...30 seconds. For each Hex or Condition you are suffering from while holding her ashes, you gain +3 Health regeneration. Drop her ashes to spread 1...3...4 conditions from you, to nearby foes.

5 Energy1 Activation time20 Recharge time - (Restoration magic) - Elite Item spell. Hold his ashes for 10...26...30 seconds. While you holding his ashes you gave 50% chance to block attacks and you have + 24 armor.

All hexes and conditions expire 20...44...50% faster on non-Spirit allies within its range.This Spirit dies after 5...13...15 seconds. All other binding rituals are disabled for 4 seconds." For every 3 ranks in Spawning Power, Preservation lasts 2 seconds longer.

When this spirit dies, all non-Spirit allies within its range gain 2...7...8 health for each second, this spirit was alive.This Spirit dies after 5...13...15 seconds.
