you would lose some heal , but would have better energy management. /agreee 189.70.185.150 23:56, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
oh , just a thing that i forgot to ask , would it stack with smiter's boon? 189.70.185.150 23:56, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- It would be usable again if they lowered the energy penalty to 1 and lowered the healing slightly. No need to make it complicated. ~Shard (talk / Nerf List) 00:10, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- How would that make it complicated? Having a consistent "Boon" mechanism is not as confusing as having this maintained and losing 1 energy. --Life Infusion «T» 01:44, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- Divine Boon was never too powerful. There was just a lack of alternatives back when Healing Prayers weak. I support the change. --Shadetz X 11:41, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- @189.70.185.150: Why shouldn't it stack with smiter's boon? So the answer i clearly YES. ^^

And I don't know why this would be complicated Shard? Is smiter's boon that complpicated for you? Less healing, but less energy costs - that was my idea... A. von Rin 16:26, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- I imagine what the person who was asking about smiters boon wanted to know was: Since divine boon is in diving favor attribute, would the healing from divine boon double. The answer is NO, only the bonus from the passive effect of divine favor is modded from that skill, nothing more. --Angelic Loki 05:27, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
- While you maintain this Enchantment, whenever you cast a Monk Spell that targets an ally, that ally is healed for 15...51...60 Health. You lose 2 energy whenever you use a Protection Prayers Monk Spell. - Slight change to encourage usage with the Healing Prayers line. This skill should not be destoryed by a complete functionality rework. Boon Prot Monks were definitely interesting to watch to say the least. Good constant pressure on a single foe such as a Guild Lord would sooner or later result in victory. Nothing wrong with target switching and spreading the damage around, but I don't remember the last time I saw someone punch a guild square in their face without spiking. - jayce 64.253.21.188 23:46, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
I think this skill should just take away -1 energy instead of -2, and it'll be good. I do pretty fine with a melandru's monk, it just needs to be -1 Halogod35 17:26, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
- I wouldn't want the same old boon prots back in the game. The idea of Guild Wars is that it is a game of skill, not a game of builds. Because of some lame builds using Smiters Boon (which actually owned), Smiters Boon was nerfed to extinction. I don't want to say that boon prots were overpowered, but allowing the usage of just protection prayers to both heal and prot took away a lot of skill. Therefore I would prefer a skill that can be used along side the other skills on a monks bar without making this skill a required skill on each monks bar. Your suggestion of reducing the energy lost per cast will just result in Divine Boon healing for an additional 60hp for 1 energy +1 per 3s, which is a lot more efficient. In fact it may even come close to the efficiency of healing with WoH depending on the ammount of casts! Either way I have to agree that this skill is just to passive as it is now. 62.194.247.7 23:44, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
