5 energy, 10 second recharge

That seems a bit too cheap for party-wide condition removal, unless Extinguish only removed Burning...or maybe it could 15 energy to cast, and you get (1...5...8) energy back for every burning condition it removes (maximum +10 energy) or something like that. - Elder Angelus 20:49, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

That's not a bad reward for skilled play. Though I would tone the numbers down to

15 Energy1 Activation time12 Recharge time +1...3...4 Energy back (max:12) You could still get the positive energy back using Glyph of Lesser Energy.--TalkAntioch 15:04, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

IMO Glyph needs a nerf because it keeps the cost of a lot of expensive Monk skills up. And Glyph is also a bit on the overpowered side for energy management. Think about this: With ZERO attribute investment you save 15 energy every 31 seconds-that's almost 1.5 pips of regeneration. Energy tap gives about 1 pip of regeneration in PvE at 8 Inspiration with longer cast time. In PvP, forget about using Energy Tap unless you have fast casting. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:96.233.5.27 (talk).
