Sure, go ahead. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.71.216.76 (talk • contribs) at 19:23, 14 July 2008 (UTC).

The problem with making these spells is that there is no such thing as a Touch Spell. Although I guess theres a first time for everything.....--User Wandering Traveler Oie User Wandering Traveler Sig2.png Wandering Traveler 19:27, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
Star Burst, Rending Touch and Mending Touch are touch spells. 90.58.71.59 04:42, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

Dark Aura+This+Cultist's Fervor = going to be imba. Dark Morphon(contribs) 10:28, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

I disagree. just kite? -- NUKLEAR User NuclearVII signature 3.jpgIIV 10:23, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
Even then, it's still over 100 damage per touch... Dark Morphon(contribs) 10:48, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
On a squishy frontliner with sacrifice so no self heals from Vtouch. Plus, half your bar. -- NUKLEAR User NuclearVII signature 3.jpgIIV 10:52, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
Use a Ranger with Expertise to reduce the cost even more+extra armor. Dark Morphon(contribs) 13:59, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
And lose out on your damage and increase your sacrifice to a point where you lose 10% of your bar every time you attack? -- NUKLEAR User NuclearVII signature 3.jpgIIV 22:41, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
Lose out on damage? If this gets through, you deal 40 or so extra Nearby AoE damage per touch, how is that "losing out on damage"? Dark Morphon(contribs) 10:13, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
You lose rune and headgear if you go ranger, mate. -- NUKLEAR User NuclearVII signature 3.jpgIIV 13:52, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
Compare it to a normal toucher rather than to a Necromancer using those skills. Dark Morphon(contribs) 19:44, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
Normal touchers gain health, that's what's so great about normal touching. Your touchers would lose health evevry time you did damage. -- NUKLEAR User NuclearVII signature 3.jpgIIV 21:09, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

This skill needs to be changed that necro primaries can use it. If this combined with cultist's fervor and dark aura, it would not be overpowered. It would be similar to dark aura and touch of agony combo, except it would cost more energy and probably more health too while taking up an elite slot. The 15e requirement is just way too much for this skill though unless you're a ranger... Evil Penguin 19:27, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

Agreed... these shouldn't be more powerful on touch rangers than on Necro primaries. I think something like the second suggestion might have to be implemented. I would also put the cost down to 10Energy and maybe up the recharge slightly (maybe ~4Recharge time?). Of course at a lower cost the amount of health stole might have to be tweaked (and you could add a point or two per rank in Soul Reaping too) and so on, but it should at least then become a bit more balanced.
With the blood spike rampaging gvg and ha at the moment I do not think buffing these two is wise, but that comment is mostly to remind Shard that expertise works on any touch skills whatever its type, and that Star Burst, Rending Touch and Mending Touch are touch spells, the last two being a very common use of a touch spell by rangers. 92.131.226.182 00:34, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
Wow, Shard just failed. Expertise works on ALL skills with touch range. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.71.212.72 (talk).
This might be based on a loosely-founded technicality, but how about we make them spells that require touch range, rather than touch spells. Like YAA, except way shorter range. This will make the toucher require a bit more activity (as much activity as forcibly moving and pressing 1 2 1 2 1 can be)and if you can understand this technicality, them being touch-ranged spells, but not actual touch spells would nerf any link with expertise. --TalkRiddle 18:34, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

Cultist's Fervor got buffed

Time to reconsider changing this to a spell? --Chaos Messenger 17:53, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
