Good solution @ streetp. A. von Rin 21:42, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

You create Clamor of Souls at target foe's location. For 5 seconds, all nearby foes take 5...17...20 light damage. 10|2|20 --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Freema (talk).

i think a increase in the range to in the area would be enough for this, and possibly decrease casting time to 1/2 or 3/4, as well. --Metal Sazz 19:03, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

i would thik this would be overpowered if your team had alot of spirits.... 76.188.100.220 23:36, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

not really: don't know about you but if i saw a horde of spirits, i wouldn't go in the middle :P--Metal Sazz 01:25, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

Streetp's idea is really good. It'd work well with Destruction, without having to put points in Spawning (which a lot of PvP Ritualists don't). Still, Blindness isn't really a Channeling Effect. Other Channeling skills cause Burning, Life Stealing, Energy Gain, Knockdown and Interuption. Although Burning, Knockdown and Interuption don't feel right with this skill's name and current function, a short duration of burning or gaining energy for each foe struck would be useful and work with Channeling's current purpose. The only use that I know of for this skill is a lame telespike. 7 people using Shadow Walk + Clamor of Souls at the same time = instant win. {{subst:unsgined|72.71.209.174}}

Pwncho's Issue

How would it be an elite version of Spirit Rift? Spirit Rift is unconditional, has a shorter recharge time, has a shorter delay, doesn't require that the target be close to spirits and won't take out your own spirits. -- Gordon Ecker 08:24, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

Suggestion #1

Interesting idea, but too week for an elite spell.

Suggestion #2

I do like the proposal to make an elite version of Spirits Boon Strike, but your suggestion is even as week as the normal Spirit Boon Strike is (and this skill is too week). Set the heal too 100 and set the rechargetime to 2 for every spirit and it would be ok as an elite spell. Even like your description tells, the spell heals enemy spirits too. So 2 seconds are necessary.

Feedback is very appreciated and I do dwell over it. Though, I'm very careful to not make things absurd or overpowered, I don't know, just looking through all other Elite damaging spells, very few go over 100 damage for 10/15 energy, with few exceptions that merit it... Such as single-target spells; longer cast times; meeting conditions, etc. Though, maybe I'm putting entirely too much thought into something that may not even be looked at--but I shall be making other suggestions in the future. --Quiesce 03:46, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

Anet Fears Rit-spikes

Everyone is aware of the Ritualist's history of overpowered spikeness, yes? --Falconeye 18:46, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

Yullive's Suggestion

I love the idea of a Spirit Rift elite. Although I'm not sure why the damage has to be lower just because of a larger range, even with Rit Spikes in mind. Wouldn't it be more effective to balance out the damage over 3 seconds, sort of like the PvP version of Ancestor's Rage? I'd favor it dealing more damage than Spirit Rift itself but I suppose there are reasons it couldn't... Still, your idea strikes me as more useful than the original, current and other suggestions of this skill. Not that my opinion means much, though. >.> Bathory 14:16, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

I think the damage would be enaugh. Thanks for your encouragement. Note: Would you pls be so kind, to create a user page? --User Yullive Consume Soul.png Yullive 16:05, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
I tried earlier. But I'm a terrible coder and don't really want to steal anything... I would like to see Clamor usable though. The icon makes me laugh. Bathory 17:50, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
