  • Current Situation

Alliance Battles and Competitive Missions have always had problems with leechers when they were introduced, however this has become worse since the increase rewards for Fort Aspenwood and The Jade Quarry, as well as the introduction of Zaishen Combat Quests. Although players are incouraged to report them for leeching, the current method of doing this is annoying and also discouraging.

First of all, to report a character, you have to literally stop what you're doing, and then type "/report <character name>" This is bad because it leaves you as a free target to kill, it disrupts what you were intending to do (i.e, collecting amber, capping shrines, etc.), and reporting during battle could cost you and your team the game. Also, some of these leechers' names can be long, a bit tricky to type, or just random letters, which makes it harder and consumes more time to report them.

  • How This Works

This works in two ways.

1. If the offending player is within compass range from you, you can select/highlight him/her and the interface will show the health bar, a trade button and a report button. Clicking on the report button will send you straight to the report menu in which you choose the reason for reporting him/her.

2. You can select the offending player's name from the party panel. If the player is either not within compass range from you, or the player have left the game, a report button will appear next to the highlighted name on the party panel. Otherwise the player's health bar, and trade and report buttons will show up instead.

  • Why This Would Be Better

1. Makes it quicker and much easier to report leechers/offending players.

2. With it being quicker, this will get you back to the game a lot sooner.

3. Discourages intentional leechers to come up with difficult names to type or random letters.
