Feedback talk:User/Batchie/Report Button during Character Highlight
Good idea :D--Unendingfear 15:01, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
- I agree, a few seconds typing in a name can cost you the game. Ideally, Anet would stop fucking around and just ban repeated leechers, but oh well. --Gah_ 15:07, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
- Nice idea. I hate having to type in the names, especially, as you noted, the ones that seem intentionally designed to foil typing. -- FreedomBound 15:09, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
- Can't you just click on the leecher and type only "/report" and it'll report them? --JonTheMon 15:09, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
- Clicking on a button is quicker and easier than clicking on the chat bar and then type "/report" Batchie 15:32, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
- Too "easier", IMO. Arena Net's (actually, it's NCSoft's) support team is small; making it easier to report would likely add more false reports that would consume more of their already limited time. Erasculio 15:40, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

Great idea. This will also help in reporting those who switch districts quickly so you can't report them. Can you report people for selling gold and such? I know its against the rules but its not an option in the pop-up menu when you try and report people. Swordfish56 15:39, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
Heh, little known fact: Target someone and type /report, no need to type there name. Rypofalem 17:55, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
- To make it even easier, if you're going somewhere where you expect leeching, type /report targeting someone, check the leeching box, then cancel the window. Then, when you see a real leecher, just hit enter + up + enter and click ok. Reporting people in a match takes less than 2 seconds this way. ~Shard 02:37, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
There are also people who leave parties etc, since you can only report people who are in the same area as you are, it's hard to stop people who do this on purpose. I'd like to see an option to report people who are not in the same area as you, or have been in the same area for like the last PvP match. ~ Sanna 11:57, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
What if someone mis-clicked it and it ended up in dishonorable? You're not going to accidentally report someone by doing /report. Kalizar
WELL ACTUALLY IF YOU JUST HIGHLIGHT THE PLAYER and type in /report it will report him without having to type his name, but most people don't know that. HERE IS MY OPINION when someone is reported they should be kicked out of the group and replaced by someone that is awaiting to enter the battle!!!! OH YESSS Arctic105 21:01, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
