In my life, my thoughts consist of analysis, assessment, and solving of problems. I have understood that in Guild Wars 2, there will be limited instances, if there are any separate instances at all...... In Guild Wars, Guild Halls have been in isolated instances, creating way too much information with creating and recreating Guild Hall instances..... In Guild Wars, in Kryta, I have seen giant city-like structures floating above the water, out of harm's way from the world below, along with the Sebelkeh Basilica, which is another such floating structure. I believe I have a solution to Guild Halls, along with how to make a Guild Battle in a non-instanced world. I believe that Guild Halls should be floating above the ground, and may move around in the territory of whatever race your guild is located in; I agree with the idea of peace, but an uneasy peace would be more likely.... Ascalonians would not forgive the Charr for destroying their empire, nor would Asurans let someone of "inferior intellect" live in their lands without due cause, the Charr are too chaotic to just let someone come into their lands. Though, my idea has one fault: Sylvari. They live in a dense forest, which the trees would destroy any large structure, or vice versa. Thus, I propose for Sylvari, Tree-Halls, which may crawl through the forest, without destroying anything.
I also propose, for the sake of keeping Alliances in Guild Wars 2, you may connect your hall to other halls in your alliance, forming a massive city-like structure for your Alliance to converse, trade, etc. In Guild wars, I've been annoyed how there's nowhere for your alliance to really gather, except the Alliance Chat bar, thus, this would add in a way for an Alliance to really thrive, and with the Guest feature, you could have one Alliance be a major marketplace in the economy of Guild Wars, traveling throughout the expanse of your territory. I suggest that you may be allowed to ally with any species, yet unless you join your hall with a guild in another said species, your guild hall may not leave your territory.
As I wrote about Guild Vs. Guild earlier, I will now get to that. I propose that as with the Alliance-City feature, you may be able to link (attach your Guild Hall by a bridge, or Asura Gate in a near proximity) with other Guilds for either Guild Battles, Trading, or simple conversation. This should be done between ANY race, in my opinion, but only done in badlands that nobody controls.
