Never mind, I'm an idiot.

The description for Balanced Stance states "you cannot be knocked down," and that's simply not true. I don't PvP so I can't say whether it's functional there or not, but this skill is definitely bugged in PvE and needs to be fixed so that it works. In the Shiverpeaks, you quickly discover that this skill does not prevent knockdown. Try entering Snake Dance from Camp Rankor and see how far you get relying on this skill to keep you on your feet. Azure Shadows, Summit Giant Herders, Tundra Giants, etc. can knock you down repeatedly, at will.

The Deldrimor skill "Don't Trip!" is party-wide and works exactly the way it's supposed to, so obviously there's nothing special about Giant Stomp or Signet of Judgment that can bypass knockdown prevention. "Don't Trip!" is OK, but it's nothing like the 18-20 seconds of prevention that BS claims to provide. DT's 3-5 seconds is nowhere near enough time to deal with a scattering mob of Herders, especially if there happens to be a Dolyak Master or two in the backline (which is almost always the case).

This core skill is broken, and if the talk page is any indication, it's been broken for years. Fix it please.

Bug Bug.Balanced Stance's knockdown prevention does not work in PvE.
