Rare labels for rare drops[edit]
Several valuable or coveted items that appear infrequently are labeled in white as if they were common and/or of low value. Change their designation to rare and/or uncommon to reflect their relative drop rates and in-game value. This would make it easier to spot drops (and therefore harder to miss picking them up.)
- Lockpicks: These have more in common with rare items: they have a minimum worth of 750, trade for more than unique items, and rarely drop (even during double-chance weekends).
- Rare materials: These have an uncommon drop rate and vary in value from less than common materials (e.g. Silk) to currency substitutes (e.g. Ecto).
- Tomes: Elite Tomes are gold; these should be grapes.
- Quest items: These aren't terribly hard-to-find, but I have noticed people who never pick-up whites will leave them behind unless prompted. (e.g. I've actually seen people forget to grab their Exquisite Surmia Carving).
