Anything yet[edit]

I'm to impatient... ~Nelson(n122333)User N122333 sig image.jpg 22:45, 16 June 2011 (UTC)

How many seconds do you give it before vandals come and start saying the update is about Dervish P-size? 99.244.36.101 22:46, 16 June 2011 (UTC)

2secs Always. ~Nelson(n122333)User N122333 sig image.jpg 22:49, 16 June 2011 (UTC)

Yay for spies![edit]

I asked for that one the first spies update and they did it =D. i fell special. ~Nelson(n122333)User N122333 sig image.jpg 22:51, 16 June 2011 (UTC)

I really don't see the point. made sense in AB since you can't just warp to the other side. But... FA and JQ doesn't have that problem. Nor do they have a problem with fewer people on one side than the other. So...? 96.233.178.219 23:30, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
Basically it's for PvP only chars. It speeds up map travel between the two sides by not making you have to return to the Great Temple of Balthazar before going to the other side. That's the point. 75.216.246.247 23:36, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
FA does. Quite often there are fewer luxons. But it makes it easier for PvP characters. Instead of traveling to GToB, finding the Faction guys, and traveling back to Factions, you just go right to the other. It helps those of us with less than ideal internet connections (takes quite a while to load GToB sometimes). FleshAndFaith 23:37, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
Now we just need to see Hei Tsu showing up in guild halls. User Felix Omni Signature.pngelix Omni 00:08, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
Yay another gold sink. ~Nelson(n122333)User N122333 sig image.jpg 01:22, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
Gold sink? lol. Hardly...unless you're one of those 'one man guilds' in which case, serves you right. -Wrei110.175.241.56 08:21, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
I meant in general, not for me. How many guilds are there? That times 10k is a lot of money gone. It's good for the economy. My yay was not sarcastic. ~Nelson(n122333)User N122333 sig image.jpg
10k per person, let alone guild, is absolutely nothing with current rewards. 24.197.253.243 02:19, 18 June 2011 (UTC)

Bugfixing[edit]

The Flash Enchantment bug had been lingering on the wiki since the dervish update. I've reported it again just two days ago and now it's fixed. Apparently, those forums are being read and acted upon. Awesome! Tub 08:40, 17 June 2011 (UTC)

The forums are patrolled many times a day and all bugs and issues posted there are processed by ArenaNet in a way. ;) - Infinite - talk 09:17, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
It's unlikely that bug was first noted by ANet in the forums. However, I am sure that we will see a better correlation between reports (in the forum) and changes implemented in various updates. More importantly, I am sure that we will start seeing active engagement by the QA team again (something that has been missing since various personnel changes perhaps a year or more ago). — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 16:05, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
let's just agree that it's a wonderfull initiative that they should have done sooner. Also any bug fixed is good! :D --RhoninUser Rhonin Soren sig.pngSoren 14:29, 19 June 2011 (UTC)
Bug fixes are good.
By they way, they did do this sooner: there used to be active QA involvement in Feedback:Bug reports. Lots of stuff got reported, identified, resolved or set aside, or explained. As personnel changed, ANet responded less frequently, but bugs noted in that area were still getting fixed (so one presumes QA was still reading new posts). There are advantages and disadvantages to using a secure forum as a reporting tool, compared to using the wiki. — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 16:41, 19 June 2011 (UTC)
