Dyes[edit]

aww this does make sense, as people with stacks of pink dye from back along cant abuse the dye trader and make huge profit. --Smithy-Star User Smithyben sig icon.png 21:22, 30 September 2011 (UTC)

just make them drop as much as purple dyes, you wont get much profit out of them then  :) i still have over 100 but i bought them for personal use, i dont plan on selling mine  :)Spark-TBa 21:26, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
Thanks, thanks, thanks, thanks, thanks!!! I missed the last year's pink day and I never had one single pink dye. I'm so happy now!!! Thanks!!! Linu 21:34, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
(Edit conflict) Personally I don't get / see the Reason why they added yet another color... Waste of their time :/ It's not as it couldn't have been mixed before already (sort of at least). If they want endless colors they (c/s)hould just replace the 4 Dye Slots when applying dye to Armor by an RGB Select Dialog so that everyone can choose out of 16,000,000 Colors and get rid of Dye. --SilentStorm Talk to me 21:36, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
Remember, kids, Purple+Pink gets you a nice Mauve, perfect for Mesmers. MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 21:46, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
I wonder what Rosa's Dye is going to be like? If it's just pink, I understand the great cause behind it, but I can't see it being as big a thing as before. And if it's not just pink then this update seems kind of pointless... - Bramblefeet 21:48, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
not that "useless" its adding pink dye to the game as permanent feature whilst stopping people abusing the trader with the ones they already have? The update was mainly just bugfix for WoC though. --Smithy-Star User Smithyben sig icon.png 21:53, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
has anyone tried combining pink dyes and rosas dyes, if they're both identical but technicly different then this could be the first dye colour that allows more than one of the same colour to emphasize it without diluting it 188.222.77.162 21:56, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
Can they be purchased from normal Dye traders? Haven't seen 1 yet. Are they out of stock or do they just drop from monsters? Lhoj 22:08, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
Maybe thy run out of stock? But ofcourse maybe the trader needs an update. --Smithy-Star User Smithyben sig icon.png 22:10, 30 September 2011 (UTC)

I expect they didn't add it to the trader yet to prevent people from mass buying it cheap and that way make it unneccesarily the expensivest dye there is. --Kilaa1000 22:16, 30 September 2011 (UTC)

Nah, been checking the trader for some minutes and apparently it's not being sold. Time to do some dye farming in presearing to check if it drops. Lhoj 22:24, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
the two pink dyes have no difference one has a different name to prevent people from selling off the stacks that they bought when the dye was first introduced.-User Zesbeer sig.png Zesbeer 22:28, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
Confirmed, it can be bought, a guildmate just bought one for 240g. They're just stocked out most of the time. Also, they're same color as Rosa's (you're told so if you put one from each type in the same armor piece) Lhoj 22:32, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
Rosa's Dye cannot be bought or sold at the dye trader, but the pink dye that drops can. Yes, there are 2 types of pink dye now. --MushaUser Musha Sigc.png 05:50, 1 October 2011 (UTC)
"has anyone tried combining pink dyes and rosas dyes.." They can't be mixed, both dyes display as "Pink" in the preview. Mora 15:41, 1 October 2011 (UTC)
