ectos in Scarred Psyche?[edit]
Foes in Scarred Psyche can drop ectos. Is that on purpose? o_O Tub 19:46, 24 October 2011 (UTC)

- drops have to be assigned to specific foes i was lead to believe, thats why smites in eotn cant drop ectos, the fact they drop from a foe that isnt even meant to be in UW would make me think it was done on purpose.Spark-TBa 20:59, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
- That's correct. The ecto drops are intentional, and only the base ~50 or so foes can drop anything at all (ectos or otherwise). The rate is relatively low, so getting 1 per run is probably overenthusiastic. –Jette 21:27, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
- Research suggests a drop rate above >2% for common ecto-dropping foes. Unless those were adjusted as well, when killing all 50 foes you might expect 1-2 drops per run, though those would obviously have to be shared with your whole party. Tub 22:00, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
- I don't know the exact percentage. It could be 2%, or it could be as high as 4-6% as with some Underworld enemies. It's low enough that the added PITA of having to defend king thorn means it's hardly worth your while to try to farm them here, the ectos are just a little bonus for people who like it enough to repeat it. –Jette 22:39, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
