So Ranger attacks and Ranger rituals will still be affected, correct? --Kyoshi (Talk) User Kyoshi sig.png 17:47, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

Of course not, Ranger skills in general are listed to be affected by Expertise. Dark Morphon 12:55, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
/facepalm
Let me rephrase. With your suggestion, will Expertise affect Ranger attacks and Ranger rituals? You just said remove attacks and remove rituals, which doesn't explain whether you just mean to remove that text or remove ALL attacks and ALL rituals from Expertise. --Kyoshi (Talk) User Kyoshi sig.png 18:31, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
"Remove Rituals and Attacks from the list" Sorry, I need to learn to read. --Kyoshi (Talk) User Kyoshi sig.png 18:50, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
Have a nice day. Dark Morphon 14:13, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
by far this is the worse suggestion iv ever heard, with that thinking why not we only let rangers use bow? hows that? solves your problem
If your a ranger and your not using a bow your running a gimmick. Gimmicks r bad. Mkay? Lrn2troll better please.
This is a retarded idea. The builds you are calling "gimmicks" are the only use for expertise. All of the rangers skills are overcosted to make up for the expertise reduction, so without being able to use expertise with attacks, anet might as well remove expertise and make ranger skills have normal costs. Look at what happened to dervish: they rebalanced and now dervish has zero synergy with any other class, because all the dervish crap only works with other dervish crap. And what makes you say "Gimmicks r bad" gimmicks are how you make new and interesting builds. And if the game is designed so that rangers can use other classes attacks at low cost, how is doing so any more of a gimmick than, say, using strength with a scythe or anything else. If you are arguing that Rangers primary attribute should only effect ranger skills, you must also argue that any other application of a primary attribute to another classes skills is a "gimmick" and bad and shouldn't be allowed. So do you think that Fast casting shouldn't effect non-mesmer spells? Do you think Energy storage should only provide a larger energy pool for elementalist spells (how the hell would that work anyway)? Do you think spawning power shouldn't effect minions? Do you think critical strikes shouldn't effect any weapon but daggers? Do you think strength should only work with swords, axes and hammers? Because if you don't, your argument that expertise builds are "gimmicks" and somehow a bad thing, are bullshit. Githyan 20:04, 10 May 2012 (UTC)
