I think marriage in MMO's is just creepy and wrong. I've played many MMO's and the ones that have marriage just use it as another lame gold sink Dervish-tango-icon-20.pngDevi 19:23, 22 January 2012 (UTC)
I would like it. But with less complications. And an private chat tab for the wife/housband RP

no this is a bad idea cause it goes like this, allow marriages, then gay marriages, then wtf cant i marry my pet?!--196.215.121.28 18:36, 12 February 2012 (UTC)

Yes, lets give a group of people know for having issues with social anxiety and other similar issues more was of living almost only in the virtual. This sin't second life or sims, you kids want to have "marriages" ingame, you're going to have to use your own imagination. Don't expect Arenanet to support your sickness.--Will Greyhawk 01:48, 6 March 2012 (UTC)

I wouldn't mind "romances" with a select few NPCs (I always love a little romance in everything), but I wouldn't actually want to marry other players; it feels eerie or unnerving to me. --KirbyGotenksabsorbed 21:58, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

I feel like the vast majority of people who marry in MMO's are just real life couples who are at end game, have a metric ton of unnecessary gold, and just feel like having a party for @#$%s and giggles. I say let people do whatever they want to do, and don't get so worked up over how they live their virtual lives. I personally don't care that much either way, but I really can't understand people's phobic disapproval of it. I've played MMO's with formal marriage systems in place and it really wasn't nearly as much of a problem as people really seem to make it out to be. --Ceangal 08:39, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
