Feedback talk:User/Ezekial Riddle/A few gw2 suggestions
I don't think your resource-on-traps idea will work so great; I have some friends who are/have been playing WoW, and they've already seen the disaster; if something requires resources, noone will be using it. Besides that, if traps would require resources, arrows would probably too, making ranger-like professions very rare. Noone wants to use their money on something they can use a couple of times, because that will just make it too realistic, and you wont have as much time to explore the world, wasting all your time going back to the city and using half your farming money (if farming is what you were doing) on resources, so you can go out and farm again. And about the realistic thing, I don't feel that's what anet are trying to make GW2, players being able to breathe underwater and all.--Syncretic 15:46, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
Wow is a bad game--★NeiN★ 15:47, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
- "if something requires resources, noone will be using it."
- Not necessarily. Energy, Adrenaline and (sometimes) Health are resources, all I am suggesting is one more resource that is specific for traps.
- "Noone wants to use their money on something they can use a couple of times"
- Consumables say otherwise. Which is why I wouldn't mind if they made traps consumables that require construction instead of a skills. --Riddle 00:10, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
I think the only good suggestion you have is being able to just walk. Would be great for RPing and that stuff. ~Cookies~ 20:06, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
