So in theory your suggestion is both new event parts (the fire being put out during an event, partially changing the outcome perhaps?) and new events all together that have no combat directly tied with it (repairing the house). I personally like the Idea. It throws in more depth to a genre that is just hack-slash, get loot, repeat. Now were going to be able to actually help people, and I mean help, not "kill the attacking army" or "drive back the bandits" or whatnot. Perhaps a merchant will need someone to take supplies to a nearby town for him? Or what if a farmer needs his crops watered? These small non-combat tied events would add more story-related material to be available, add depth to the people of the world, and just make it seem all the more alive. It has my support!--Neithan Diniem 03:03, 4 June 2010 (UTC)
YES! exactly :D thanks a lot. I wasnt sure if i worded it particularly well to get the message across, but im glad you understand (and more importantly like) my idea :)/ - Jimmer123
- I wouldn't be surprised to see something to this general affect in GW2, going be some of the information that Anet has been releasing lately.--Will Greyhawk 14:23, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
- I like the idea for all the reasons above. Sonic Thursday 14:27, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
Nice idea i really hope they put this in, cause it fits fine with the dynamic event world. Sahra Delona 17:55, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
I agree, it is a very good idea. I personally, would like to see this implemented. Not only that, but if you're trying to put out a fire, then maybe Fire Elementals could be attracted to the fire or something. There are millions of things you could do with this, like tornado coming along while fighting a boss or something. Kaon Frostblade talk
