What if you are in an Asuran area fighting Destroyers, or in a Norn area fighting Charr? --JonTheMon 15:25, 12 October 2010 (UTC)

Well, you're supposed to be a God, what's wrong with being in an Asuran area with the energy buff AND also having your Delver title fighting against Destroyers? Wouldn't that be nice, and be a real big carrot for peeps to get the GWAMM title? --Lord Kahuna 20:35, 12 October 2010 (UTC)

If you've got GWAMM, you shouldn't need a bonus buff. The reward for beating a game is you get to play in "hard mode", not "easy mode". For contrast, see the HoM rewards for Guild Wars 2 - notice how the low end gives mechanical rewards, and the much harder-to-achieve high end gives only prestige. Nom 23:43, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

I think this is a bad idea. It rewards hardcore gamers too much. This game says on the box that it is avoiding grind. Now i realize nightfall kinda introduced grind... but it shouldnt be rewarded more than it already is.Nibelhim 14:44, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

Seems like a lot of extra coding for nothing. It also doesn't take into account you might not have max Asura rank or max Lightbringer or whatever. Ruse talk (talk) 00:15, 8 November 2010 (UTC)

I originally posted this because I had been talking with other guildies and people around the game, they all thought the idea was brilliant and a definite winner. But apparently not, so be it. And the theory was that you would receive the buff of a specific title only at the level you had attained so far, not automatically receive the full title benefit. It was basically so that you could display GWAMM and not have to change to other titles all the time, which is what most people seem to find the most annoying aspect. Thanks for the comments.

I like this idea[edit]

I like this idea because, on the face of it, there's no particular advantage to reaching GWAMM other than to the chance to avoid finding and toggling the right titles on/off for each area. To prevent it from becoming something more, it could be limited to...

  • EotN: uses title for the area/region (e.g. Norn title in Norn territory, Delver in Depths, ...)
  • NF: Lightbringer (since Sunspear has no impact).
  • Prophecies/Factions: title has no impact
  • For those rare instances when you are fighting Charr in Depths etc, players would still have to manually toggle.

However, even if you had all 4 eotn titles active, there's still little advantage to GWAMM, since there are very, very few situations in which you can use two titles in the same fight (briefly in the Assault on the Stronghold, briefly when first glimpsing destroyers in Asuran Territory, and substantially in GOLEM).  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 03:50, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
