No, I don't like these server and starter guilds that you are talking about. Guild should be run and maintained by the players. They also, regardless of the level, should NOT be restricted to Race. I think you've also forgotten that guilds are account based, but also that players can join multiple ones on their account.--Will Greyhawk 03:27, 29 October 2011 (UTC)

I'm against too, players shouldn't be forced into guilds, especially generic ones (EvE-like factional competition logic, rather than GW2's more universal collaboration), but an automatic subscription to both local zone and world-wide help chat channels would be a good solution to the problem you pose. --  Leonim _{[talk·contribs]} 11:00, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
