Basically this is Heal Other with a drawback and a long recharge time which also requires you to devote your elite slot to it and does not heal the full 180 points at once. Koda User Koda Kumi UT.jpeg Kumi 20:15, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

The benefit of this skill is in the health gain over time, not the overall heal amount. Throw this on an ally while he's taking damage and you can then switch targets to prot someone else in danger. If the recharge was any shorter a monk could possibly maintain this on himself and another target simultaneously (say, another monk), making it OP. With the current stats, it's maintainable on one target already. Remember that Protective Spirit is in the same attribute, so both enchants on one target could conceivably compensate for most of the damage taken by a target within a few seconds. In PvP, it could be a beneficial elite to place on runners, juggernauts/turtles, and fellow casters being targeted by melee. In PvE, it's like a monk's version of Spirit Light Weapon without the requirement of nearby spirits for the full effect. Yes, it requires the target to be passive (save for some PBAoE skills) to be beneficial, but it doesn't end if the target takes aggressive action.--Ph03n1x 20:43, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
Good luck maintaining a 10 energy, 6 second duration enchantment on yourself as prot monk. Koda User Koda Kumi UT.jpeg Kumi 14:44, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
With a BiP it'd be entirely possible. I'm trying to account for everything so it's a balanced skill and not OP in a niche build.--Ph03n1x 17:31, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
So protection prayer having it own healing skill is good right?--BobbyT User Talk: BobbyT 17:40, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
Since it's not a direct heal (and therefore has the risk of being removed before it's finished) I don't see this being in the same category. They've attempted to create this type of skill before, but most of them have unwanted drawbacks (casting times, durations, recharges, conditionals) because their functionalities tried to compensate for too much damage. This has a short recharge and cost and decent heal per second, but because of its drawbacks it's not going to turn anyone into a makeshift perma or the new 55 monk.--Ph03n1x 19:17, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

Umm... elite Restful Breeze!? Previously Unsigned 21:57, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

If Restful Breeze were cast on someone with 10 health degen, it would only stabilize their health. With this version of Amity, even with the cap of 10, plus 5 more from other hexes/conditions that would have to be negated with regen, this still gives the target health. And, again, it doesn't end if the target attacks or casts an offensive spell; it merely stops healing. Though, I'm considering removing that clause.--Ph03n1x 23:34, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
I just added an alternate skill description.--Ph03n1x 23:55, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
