^That. Just no.--Short talk to me 20:16, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
You are saing that the antigrinding game have to give a prize to people that spend money on rare weapon? Are you serius?--Ciotto 20:56, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
Thumbs down. this is a piece of shit. --Boro 10px‎ 11:57, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
Definitely no. Erasculio 12:03, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
This idea is bad and you should feel bad. —Jette User Jette awesome.png 17:39, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
Some people do not like those weapons, so you are forcing them to buy those weapons so they can use this skill. Flaming Hot Chilli 06:41, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

Think about it logically. This skill wouldn't necessarily benefit most builds. It's even overshadowed by many skills already available. However, providing the option might allow for some new, more effective builds and it's not as if most builds don't benefit from or require certain equipment. It's nothing new really and I don't think I'd be interested in using it with more than two of my current characters, but I think it would definitely make me interested in these so-called "greatest of weapons", at least in getting two or three of them.--Shai Halud 07:52, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

This increases grind and removes the choice of weapon skins if you want to be effective. Bottom line, this suggestion is just stupid, and I hope you stop trying to defend it, because it just proves your incompetence. --Gah_ 17:49, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
I don't understand how this could possibly increase grind anymore than it has been increased in the game. Secondly, what you're saying is that you don't want to have to use this weapon skin for certain builds? I didn't think the skins were that unpopular. Well, if people really hate these skins that much then I suppose this would be a bad idea. Aside from that, looking at the names of the people who oppose me (I've seen you before) I feel my confidence growing.--Shai Halud 01:33, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
We're not saying grind hasn't been increased, we're saying it shouldn't be increase further. But you know what? What the hell. I've got some destroyer and tormented weapons I need to pawn off, and if this happens the price will triple. Go for it. —Jette User Jette awesome.png 02:07, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
Good thing they can't just add it to the game themselves. This really is a bad idea... -~=Sparky User Sparky, the Tainted charr sig.PNG (talk) 02:31, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
Out of curiosity, how do you figure this will increase the grind? It will likely reward people who have more money and who farm Slaver's Exile and DoA, but it isn't as if people don't farm those areas anyway, and besides, they should be rewarding they're difficult enough. I assume you aren't protesting giving people more motivation to farm elite areas, so is this just about how ugly the skins are?--Shai Halud 04:05, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
I'll give you a hint, it has something to do with what you just said (keyword = farming). King Neoterikos 04:14, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
For the same reason people who didn't run ursan a year ago or don't run shadow form now can't get in any groups: because if you aren't using the FotMY build, you don't get in parties. So everyone will have to farm a weapon more expensive than others to play properly.
Or, as is more likely, nothing will change because 15 damage is not worth a skill slot in the current PvE meta. Meaning the suggestion will accomplish nothing. —Jette User Jette awesome.png 04:36, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
This would be like making obsidian armor give you more armor than regular armor does. Some people don't have 100k+xxEctos or a 10k+ lots of granite, iron, onyx, and diamonds for every character they have - and even if everyone did have that kind of money, they might not want to squander it on a skin they don't like in the first place. I have 18 characters on my main account, not to mention the ~12 each on my 2 side accounts. I'm not sorry to admit I haven't spent the last 3 years grinding, and I don't have 4200k and 840 ectos to waste on tormented weapons, or 420k and 42 stacks of granite and other shit for destroyer weapons. Besides, as Jette pointed out, +15 damage for PvE isn't too big of a deal anyway, so this skill will either never be used or be completely game-breaking if buffed. Bottom line, you're being pretty ridiculous trying to justify this, and I suggest you stop. --Gah_ 00:21, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

It would bother you that much not to be able to have the absolute highest armor possible on every single character? Ant to be absolutely honest, I wouldn't mind if obsidian armor had 10 or so more armor than other prestige. I still wouldn't buy it, though I might consider it for one or two characters. Also, here you have to give up a skill slot for the benefit and 15 or so more weapons damage is only useful to professions that depend on their weapons to attack. If anything, this skill is too weak to make a difference for most of the weapons. In short, you're all either insane or have too little to complain about. Anyway, it might still be a bad idea as it would still offer little incentive to by the wands, staffs, spears and so on.--Shai Halud 04:08, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

I tl;dr'd when I realized people were RAGING ABOUT BEING FORCED TO GRIND A SPECIFIC WEAPON SKIN IN ORDER TO LOL AT GW PVE LESS THAN 1% FASTER.

That said, this change is still dumb - mostly because it's a waste of time. -- Armond WarbladeUser Armond sig image.png{{Bacon}} 04:38, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

Great, a new pve skill! Oh wait, I cannot use it because I... have not farmed enough dungeons yet? No. Koda Kumi User Koda Kumi UT.jpeg talk 13:36, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
