Feedback talk:User/Sparky, the Tainted/Quick Shot

  1. Like a Melandru's Shot on block. I don't like it, way too niche and not very useful.
  2. I like this one a lot, actually. Almost like an elite Needling Shot.
  3. An elite Concussion Shot...could maybe work, but this is a little too powerful. Considering how good high-end PvP Rangers have to be with interrupts, and considering they usually meet those standards, this could overwhelm any enemy caster, easily, with only a 5 sec recharge and 15 energy cost. (That's like 7 energy with decent expertise anyway; strap a zealous weapon and you'd be set.)
  4. Hrm, kind of an elite Called Shot, or more so than the old Quick Shot anyway. I dunno about this one; the constant damage makes it hard for me to judge.

Your feedback is interesting, you've got a lot of ideas, eh? --Kyoshi (Talk) User Kyoshi sig.png 06:34, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

Thanks again for the feedback! :D One thing I had a problem with in balancing this is that they all have activation times (which are useful in R-spike). On #1, remember that it's not entirely niche, it has

5 Energy0.5½ Activation time5 Recharge time (good for a cheap, fast follow-up hit) and hurts if it's blocked (blocking is very common in the meta). #2, probably my favorite despite preparation loss, gives a lot of bar compression. #3 is one I'm not too sure about, I wish they had 20Energy skills, I think that would be perfect for this one... could use some change. #4, I actually meant this to be an elite Needling Shot + Called Shot kind of thing: if you want a gauge on the damage, it's double Needling Shot (and yes, this one is hard for me to balance without actually having the skill to test like a real balancer would). Thanks lol, yeah - I'm the artist-type-creative-person. -~=Sparky User Sparky, the Tainted charr sig.PNG (talk) 02:19, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

To be honest, I think this skill would be fine just being unblockable. But different ideas are always nice, and I see what you mean on all counts. --Kyoshi (Talk) User Kyoshi sig.png 09:03, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
