Eisen Kreuzt [Iron]

Eisen Kreuzt is a guild owned by its original creator, who plays under his main character with the name of Kartje van Oranje. The guild was created as simply a manifestation of the creator's boredom with his previous guild, for it was dead. The guild fades in and out of periods of life and near-death, however, the leader has vowed to stay with the guild regardless of what befalls it. The guild's name (Eisen Kreuzt named for the Iron Cross) and banner are inspired by the intrepid Red Baron and his red plane, bearing the German 'Iron Cross' (Eisen Kreuz). The 'T' at the end of the guild's name was added in fear of the name "Eisen Kreuz" having been taken.

Basic Guild Structure

The guild is comprised of, obviously, the leader who remains constant. (Temporary leaders are promoted while the leader is away from the game for a span of more than two weeks.) Officers are chosen by the leader and are based on the leader's judgement of the player as to their abilities to aid in the maintaining of order within the guild and if they are able to recruit new, viable members. Officers are demoted after one week of inactivty, unless they have met with the leader or with fellow officers about the reasoning behind their inactivity. United States military duties are automatically excused. The time a member is removed from the guild depends greatly on the pattern of their playing time, for example, a constantly active member will be given a month before they are removed; a player who is only abe to play once every so many weeks will be given more time. Problems with a member's PC are excused, if that member is removed from the guild they may be reinvited.

Guild Accommodations & Funds

The guild has a cape, is with the Luxon faction, is a member of an alliance, and has a guild hall (Imperial Isle). The guild hall, cape, and most of the features (save for perhaps three) were all purchased by the guild leader alone. Players will not be asked for money for the guild unless the members appeal to add a particular feature, in which case, the expense will be split by all members appealing for this feature and by the leader. If players are unwilling to share in funds for features they wish to purchase, the feature may not be purchased.

Member Discipline

Members of the guild are not expected to follow a vast number of rules, but rather, to uphold a particular level of maturity relevant to the player's age. It is prefered that members to not beg for money, items, materials, "donations", to be an officer, or for anything of that sort. Asking a comrade to borrow money is fine, however begging is not. Excessively messaging about help when all online players are incapacitated is considered begging, as well, and is frowned upon. Players are expected to remain loyal to the guild and not abandon or leave it without viable reasoning that is to be posted on the guild's forums, members are also expected to be helpful to fellow guild members whenever possible and to not discourage gameplay in any manner. Players who commit significant offences shall be warned a number of times that varies on the significance of their offense and if discipline does not ensue with the player in question, they will be removed from the guild. If a player's offense directly results in the resignation and leaving of another member, that player will be removed from the guild without warning. These methods of subject to change as the guild staff see fit.

Recruitment

All players are allowed to join Eisen Kreuzt. Players are not to be restricted or discriminated in any manner or by any factor, such as; build, profession, level, gender, age, etcetera. Players are always encouraged to participate in guild chat, party-related playing, groups of guild members in events, and forum discussion. One of the top priorities of the guild is to ensure that members are enjoying themselves so that they may feel comfortable within the guild.
