House of Zodiac was formed by King Elem and comprised initially of five other central members. Formerly, King Elem, Ivy Valentinne, Artemis Alure, Aisland Hein and Shinigami Dralin were members of a roguish troupe known then as "Gladiators of Rome". For a long time, these members were content to suffer the lunkheaded guild direction of the frivilous and superficial leader, Maximus Meredius, who often passed his title of guild leader more times than Aisland Hein died in any given quest.
As time wore on, the members of GORE were bearing down on a tough decision. Inane members and superfluous fights led to the ultimate disbanding of GORE, as the patience of many central members grew thin. However, the six members would find themselves in action again under the direction of King Elem, under the new banner of HOZO. The roster grew quickly, brimming with other previous members of GORE. The previous guild officers were returned to power, with Kyra Binks and Selena Toreador joining the ranks.
As of this writing, 12/21/2007, HOZO holds 28 members, of which roughly 14 members are active within the last two weeks.
